Carbon Removal
as Nature Intended

We work with regenerative agriculture to remove carbon from the atmosphere, for a liveable planet.

OUR MISSION

InPlanet is removing gigatons of CO2 from the atmosphere while regenerating soils in the tropics.

Climate change is the biggest challenge of our generation and thus has to be solved urgently. We at InPlanet are inspired by the beauty of this planet. It is the only one we have.

InPlanet is the first carbon removal AgTech startup to work with the unique conditions of tropical soils using Enhanced Rock Weathering.

Accelerating nature

Enhanced Rock Weathering

Throughout the Earth’s history, most of our atmospheric carbon dioxide has been removed through weathering of silicate rocks. Silicate rock reacts with water and CO2 and as a result, dissolved bicarbonate are produced. Eventually, they wash away through rivers into the oceans where they form carbon-rich sediments.

OUR farming community

"For me, it is very exciting to be with InPlanet."

What fascinates me most about this partnership with InPlanet is that we are developing knowledge that is on the frontier of sustainable agricultural management. We are going to restore the lands with remineralizers, rejuvenating the soils making them astonishingly fertile.

Dr. Celso Grisi - Fazenda Bom Retiro, Brazil

OUR farming community

"Working with InPlanet is working with nature."

It is interesting to work with the (rock powder) materials that nature provides, to improve production, and in this way to still retain respect for the Earth, while improving the world at the same time.

Renata Trevisan - Grupo Guaporé, Brazil

OUR farming community

"Brazil has immense potential with large scale rock powder application."

This work that InPlanet is doing is in line with everything we need - cost reduction, increased productivity, healthier plants, and greater production.  It's what the whole world is looking for, and we need to be well aware of global needs and trends.

Carles Malagutti - Fazenda Sertaneja, Brazil

OUR farming community

"The amazing team at InPlanet has become my friends."

“That the rock powder is bringing all these benefits to the soil and in addition even removes CO2 from the atmosphere, this is new to me and many people don't know about this. It gives great hope, and takes care of an urgent need that we are seeing with the increase in global temperature.

Luiz Murbach - Fazenda Sao Jose, Brazil

Our Farming community

Our mission is to enable farmers in the tropics to remove C02 from the atmosphere using regenerative agriculture and Enhanced Rock Weathering.

An Enhanced Rock Weathering research trip to build strong, global partnerships

At the beginning of December, our Research Lead Dr. Philipp Swoboda made an Enhanced Weathering research trip. On this trip, he visited a company and talked to researchers working in the fields of silicate rock powder application in agriculture and Enhanced Rock Weathering. While Phil was at the sites, he could always count on the virtual participation of our Head of Research, Dr. Elisabete Pedrosa, who remotely accompanied the research trip at all times. Phil traveled from Graz in Austria all the way to Breda in the Netherlands by train.
