Attendees at the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit, a deep-tech conference showcasing scientific and climate innovation.

Two weeks ago, I found myself in Paris for the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit 2025, a gathering of the world’s leading minds in deep tech and climate innovation. It’s the kind of event that brings together people building radical solutions to improve both human and planetary health. As a serial entrepreneur and Co-Founder in climate tech, I always feel incredibly lucky in moments like this, grateful to be surrounded by others working toward a healthier, happier planet.

Honda Xcelerator Ventures, SOSV and Lowercarbon Capital

There’s nothing like kicking off a summit with a room full of sharp minds. The first event I joined was a breakfast gathering that set the tone, hosted by Honda Xcelerator Ventures, SOSV, and Lowercarbon Capital. Investors, founders, and business partners came together for a candid, future-focused conversation on carbon dioxide removal.

Honda Xcelerator Ventures is driving open innovation across climate and deep tech, helping ideas scale across regions. SOSV is backing early-stage startups on a mission to improve human and planetary health. And Lowercarbon Capital, they’re betting on the most audacious ideas out there to pull carbon from the sky and push emissions to zero.

It was the kind of gathering that reminds you just how powerful aligned action can be.

March 13, 2025 Lunch
Deep Tech Founders Lunch, hosted by, Atlantic Labs, Elaia and IQ Capital

The next day, I had the pleasure of attending the Deep Tech Founders Lunch, hosted by Atlantic Labs, a sister fund of our incredible investors FoodLabs, as well Elaia, and IQ Capital. Sitting among fellow founders is always a highlight for me, and it was no different at the Hello Tomorrow Global Summit.

Being a founder and CEO can be a lonely journey, but when you gather a group of people walking that same path, something powerful happens. We dove into shared challenges, from building complex products to hiring top technical talent and navigating tough regulatory landscapes.

What struck me most was how much common ground there is. Regardless of sector, we all face similar hurdles. The investors brought a global lens to the conversation, underscoring how borderless deep tech innovation truly is. My biggest takeaway? Collaboration matters. When deep tech founders come together and openly share what they’ve learned, we all move forward faster.

March 13, 2025 Evening, Part II
Regenerative evening with Ternel and ReGen ventures

As the day moved on, but not yet closed, I joined old friends and made new ones at the Regenerative Apéro, co-hosted by Ternel and ReGen Ventures. We shared inspiring conversations, exchanged ideas, and most importantly built meaningful connections around our shared commitment to regeneration, at InPlanet, regeneration is at the core of our mission as we’re working to restore tropical soils.

The evening with Ternel was a thoughtful space for honest exchange, and I’m grateful to Sam, Julien, and the team for curating such an intentional gathering. In the middle of a busy day, it offered a meaningful pause and a reminder of the value in connecting with others who care deeply and are committed to building real solutions.

March 13, 2025 Evening, Part II
Climate tech on the rocks, by Extantia, Toyota Ventures, and Marble

Climate Tech On The Rocks was my second, and final, stop of the night. On any other day, I might’ve been running on fumes, but the energy had been building throughout the day, and by the time I arrived at the event hosted by Extantia Capital, Toyota Ventures, and Marble, the room was alive with momentum, and so was I.

You could tell everyone showed up ready to talk shop: from scaling direct air capture, to rethinking battery innovation, to grappling with the hard truths of commercializing carbon removal. It’s a real privilege to be part of that kind of conversation.

I always enjoy catching up with the team at Extantia. They’re not just funding the future, they’re actively building it. Their values resonate deeply with us, and their laser focus on decarbonization is evident in everything they do. Toyota Ventures brought a unique perspective on supporting sustainability-first startups, while the Marble team shared how they help scientists turn groundbreaking ideas into real-world companies.

I left feeling recharged, reminded of how powerful it is when people come together to share challenges, exchange ideas, and push the boundaries of what’s possible in climate tech.

March 14, 2025 Breakfast
DeepTech Breakfast with HV Capital and HCVC

My day started at the DeepTech Breakfast, hosted by HV Capital and HCVC. Over coffee, though not Brazilian, so I won’t judge, and conversations, we explored Europe’s rising deep tech landscape and how investors are supporting the next generation of breakthrough innovations.

One key takeaway was the alignment between investors and founders. Everyone in the room understood that solving big challenges like climate change requires long-term commitment. But more than ever, the conversation has shifted toward action, what we can do today. The economics of the problem are no longer a distant, theoretical discussion in a blue ocean; they are front and center, shaping investment strategies and real-world implementation. HV Capital and HCVC’s dedication to patient capital and deep tech investment was a strong signal that the market is moving toward supporting solutions with immediate and lasting impact.

Strategic Networking in Energy and Agri-Food

On my last day, I joined a networking session hosted in collaboration with the EIC Scaling Club, an initiative designed to connect Europe’s most promising scale-ups in the Energy and Agri-food sectors with corporates and investors.

Far from a typical lunch break, the focus was all on science. I always enjoy meeting new founders and discovering innovative products, and this session didn’t disappoint. Each founder brought not only a unique solution but also a sharp perspective on how to drive meaningful climate action.

The atmosphere was collaborative and ambitious, reinforcing the idea that solving systemic global challenges requires more than just innovation, it calls for deep alignment between scientific rigor, financial capital, and the ability to scale.

Center Stage

Meu tempo no Hello Tomorrow me deixou energizado.

Vamos manter o impulso. Vamos manter o foco.
